At the stroke of midnight...

I turned 28 on the 28th of March!

Thanks to all my lovely friends who came and celebrated with me - cos I only turn 28 on the 28th once!

I feel truly blessed in my life 'cos I know I can have my cake and eat it as well! Although, I wish I could pack all of you and ship you to Auckland with me!!!

Prelude to My 28 Birthday on the 28th! It's gonna be DYNO!

It's happening this Saturdayyyyy!

The theme of the party is two of my favourite things - the 80's (the era I born) and the colour blue ;)

In preparation, I got my nails coloured blue - I wanted a more striking cobalt blue but they didn't have it...love this turquoise one as well, added the glitter for a touch of disco ;)

Can't wait to rock out my blue suede shoes tooo! Love the 80s detailing...

These are times when I love being a girl! It is the shizzzzznit (did you know it was coined in the 80s?) xoxox

My pretty, pretty, pretty necklaces from Teresa of firstfan has arrived in time for my partyyyy! They are so gorgeous (and even better, handmade!), can't wait to wear them! No prizes for guessing which one I'm wearing for my 28th! ;)

Okay, so who actually buys 2 sunnies in 1 month? *meekly raises hand up*

Sooooo...I went to Reliance to get my Wayfarers cleaned (well 'cos I was in the area, honest!) and there it was, sitting prettily on counter...a limited edition (made for the Japan market) Ray Ban Aviators in chocolate brown calling out to me, "try me, try me, try me...." *sucker* 

I always wanted a pair of Aviators but was never too keen on the gold/silver metal frames...that was why I was attracted to these understated frames...

Well, now I realise the value in spending slightly more for the comfort and quality of proper sunglasses (compared to the fashion/trendy ones that are a fraction of a proper one) 

 Invest in a good pair of sunnies! You won't regret it xoxo

They sure don't make houses like these anymore. I love the architecture, high ceiling (makes it very cool on a hot and humid day minus the a/c), tiled flooring, and art deco/Nouveau embellishments
